How it Works

Purchasing downloads from our shop is extremely easy. (A high speed connection such as DSL, cable, etc. is recommended.) After your purchase is complete, you will be given links to download your purchases. Each of our tracks are encoded in 100% high quality VBR (variable bit rate) MP3, providing exceptional audio quality.

All downloadable files are provided in .ZIP format. If you're using Windows XP or above, you don't need anything extra to unzip them. Windows can handle it natively. If you are using Win98/Win2000, then 7Zip can be downloaded from here - its free!

Listen to the tracks on your MAC or PC. Burn the MP3's to CDR or put them on your portable MP3 player as many times as you want.

You will have 3 days in which to download your purchase.
Simply go to http://www.a-shockmusic.com/store/latedownload.asp and enter the order ID and password you were provided with in your email receipt to log in to your account to download your purchases within that time.

Online Security Information

As soon as you enter the order process, every bit of information that is transferred between you and us is encrypted using SSL encryption. Even if data could be intercepted over the Internet it would be useless.

When you enter a secure area, on your browser you will notice a picture of a small padlock - this normally appears right at the bottom of the screen. To double check this, you can right click on the page and select 'properties' or 'view frame info' from the list which will tell you whether you are secure or not. Also look out for the sign of a secure web page, which can be identified by the URL (the web site address). A standard page will begin with 'http://'. A secure web page will begin with the URL 'https://' denoting that the merchant is using a secure server for the transaction of data.

Barclays EPDQ

The payment process uses Barclay's secure payment system ePDQ, which supports a number of credit cards as illustrated below.

The ePDQ CPI utilises a high level of encryption - customers connect using 128 bit SSL encryption. Even if you only have a 40 bit SSL capable PC, ePDQ will automatically upgrade the connection to ensure higher encryption.

ePDQ also encrypts stored transaction information, ensuring that it's not tampered with and takes responsibility for capturing and storing card details on secure servers, always ensuring that this information is held with the very high levels of security you would expect from a major financial services company.

PayPal

PayPal

Pay with your bank account, debit card, credit card or your PayPal balance.

The security of your information, transactions, and money is a top priority at PayPal.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to their site, their server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Once your information reaches them, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Their servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorised computers.
