Birmingham's own D-E-Velopment (aka Devilman) has been in the garage seen for some time. He started mc'ing with friends in the playground at break time. He always attracted crowds of people who would say that his lyrics were heavy - and so he started to do tapes in his bedroom, but never took it serious until Vader (Midlands Miffia) took him on Smooth FM.
"That's when the ball really start rolling, we had the airwave on lock down, you can say that's when the grime seen officially took off in Brum". He started to get bookings, he would go to a dance and say one word and the whole dance would go mad.
After, he link up with the Vortex Crew who had a regular spot on Serious 93.3, things were going good until two members had some politics and the crew split. It was then that he decided to go solo. Joining Aftershock, he has now stepped up to the next level with plans for a single and an album and also some colaborations with other artistes.
